Copyright Office issues report on “Orphaned Works”

The U.S. Copyright Office has issued a report on the problem of so-called “Orphaned Works”, those copyright protected works whose authors and owners cannot be identified or located by those who wish to use them. The report can be found at http://www.copyright.gov/orphan/orphan-report.pdf
