Filming a short is easy to get excited about because it sounds easy -- then really easy to dump since there&#039;s so little benefit from making one and, moreover, filming it typically turns out looking not as easy as originally thought.

As a writer I&#039;d suggest trying to contact them again, getting the rights back, and perhaps shooting it yourself since directing a short will do more for your career than writing one.</description>
